When Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo turned 80, it didn’t just want to commemorate the milestone. It also wanted to let donors know what it had accomplished—and it wanted to do so in a fun, engaging way that communicated what the zoo is all about.
To emphasize the Beardsley Zoo’s family-friendly atmosphere, we created a large, glossy annual report featuring the theme “80 Years Young” and several of the zoo’s pint-sized clients—along with their very complementary animal counterparts. A radio spot encouraged parents to bring their kids somewhere they really want to go, not just along on their usual errands.
