Adams & Knight is seeking a motivated, inspired and imaginative intern to join our Creative Department. We’re looking for an up-and-coming Art Director/Designer or Copywriter who’s ready to dive into everything from creative concepting to ready-for-release production. As a Creative Team Intern, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines—you’ll be in the thick of the process from start to finish, helping us build brands and tell stories that spark results.

ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIPS  

Expect more than shuffling paper and staring at a screen. Our interns get in on the action, whether that’s a seat at the table during client meetings, presenting your work to agency leadership, writing social media posts, or attending a TV shoot.

Our hands-on, immersive internships provide you with real-world experiences, expose you to different dimensions of marketing and advertising, and expand your network of mentors—everything you need to grow professionally and personally.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Concept & Create: Collaborate with senior creatives to develop big ideas for integrated campaigns across digital, print, social, and video.
  • Design & Visual Storytelling (for Designers): Help execute visual assets, layout designs, and social content that are on-brand and visually arresting.
  • Write & Refine (for Writers): Draft punchy headlines, engaging social copy, and long-form content that speaks in the unique voice of our various clients.
  • Participate & Pitch: Join internal brainstorms and “creative chemistry” sessions, contributing your unique perspective to solve client challenges.
  • Present Your Work: Learn the art of the “sell” by presenting your ideas and rationales to the creative team and agency leadership.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

  • Open to currently enrolled undergraduate and master’s students
  • 7 hours per day, 2–3 days per week
  • Positions are in-person and based in Avon, CT
  • All internships are paid and open to school credit

TIMEFRAMES

  • Summer (mid May/June–August)
