IFCA names mobile app created by Adams & Knight as Best in Show

An educational yet fun app experience for the Council for Disability Awareness (CDA) garnered a best-in-show win for integrated marketing agency Adams & Knight last night at the 2013 IFCA Annual Awards ceremony in Chicago, Illinois.

Barry Lundquist, president of the CDA, accepted the coveted award for the Defend Your Income mobile app. An integral part of a larger campaign, the app was conceived, designed and executed by an in-house team of Adams & Knight digital marketing professionals. Through games, quizzes and calculators, this engaging mobile app encourages younger workers to protect themselves financially in case they become too sick or injured to work for an extended period of time.

Commenting on the win, Adams & Knight SVP of Financial Services Marc McFarland says, “It’s definitely rewarding to be named among the best in the financial services industry on such a national stage. But, it’s even more rewarding to be recognized for such a team win. This initiative was championed by the 19 member companies of CDA who have banded together to enhance consumer awareness of the need for income protection.”
