Adams & Knight brings home "Best of Show" for Mystic Seaport

Ad Club of CT Presents Agency with 11 Gold Honors, Total of 20 Awards

Adams & Knight was named “Best of Show” at the Advertising Club of Connecticut’s 58th Annual Award Show for its Lobster Days poster series campaign for Mystic Seaport, which helped drive lobster lovers to the museum’s annual Memorial Day weekend celebration. 

The Ad Club judges referred to Lobster Days as “a bold, vibrant, and playful campaign” that was “impossible to ignore.”

The integrated marketing agency was honored in eight categories with 19 awards, including 11 Gold honors and “Best of Industry” for Excellence in Financial Marketing, for its work with First Niagara, Pfizer, Canton Raptor Rehabilitation, Excel Bridgeport, and Wheeler Clinic.

“We’re grateful to receive such high accolades for the work we’ve done for our clients,” said Bill Knight, principal at Adams & Knight. “We strive to deliver both creative and results-focused work, and are proud to be recognized by our peers.”

The Ad Club of Connecticut presented a total of 85 awards in more than 40 categories over the course of the awards ceremony, held at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center in Meriden on May 23, 2012.
