Onyx Spirits partners with Adams & Knight
Decades after Prohibition ended, moonshine is back — and better than ever. And Onyx Spirits Co., maker of Onyx Moonshine, the first legally produced moonshine in Connecticut, has partnered with Adams & Knight, Inc. to help spread the word about its ultra-premium product.
“We’re thrilled to have the Adams & Knight team aboard,” said Onyx cofounder Adam von Gootkin. “They have a real passion for finding engaging ways to communicate, and they’ll help us reach out to the public, cocktail enthusiasts and bartenders and let them know what real moonshine is all about.”
Onyx Moonshine, made in Connecticut, is a far cry from the backwoods stills most people associate with the spirit. Onyx makes their moonshine in handcrafted, small batches, using only the highest quality grains. Often compared to a hybrid of whiskey and vodka, it works well in many popular cocktails and features a sweet aroma of honey and apple with spicy wood undertones.
Onyx has enjoyed a burst of publicity recently, thanks to being featured in the gift bags of the CMA Awards, as well as being the only alcohol that was offered in the gift bags for the GRAMMY Awards®.
