Pfizer selects Adams & Knight to solidify Viagra brand in Africa and Middle East Markets

Agency expands work in pharmaceutical sector

Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical company, has selected Adams & Knight, Inc. (A&K) for consumer and professional marketing for its Viagra® brand in the Middle East and Africa. A&K, one of Connecticut’s largest integrated marketing agencies will manage Viagra® patient, physician, and pharmacist communications in a campaign that will include TV, print, online and point-of-sale marketing.

Reem Nouh, A&K’s SVP of strategic services and healthcare marketing and a seasoned pharmaceutical marketer, leads the account. She has lived and worked in the Middle East and is fluent in Arabic. “Viagra is seeking a solution to stand out among competitors in a market that’s overwhelmed,” said Nouh, “By developing a strategic and integrated campaign, we will be able to increase the share of voice for the Viagra® brand in its Africa and Middle East markets.”

During her career, Nouh has managed multiple accounts for world-recognized pharmaceutical clients, including Pfizer, GSK, Novartis, Roche and Alcon. She has helped to develop patient and physician marketing campaigns for established pharmaceutical brands such as Lipitor®, Viagra®, Xalatan®, Norvasc® and Advair®, in both the U.S. and Middle East markets.
