Digital, social and video work wins premier Communicator Awards for Adams & Knight
Adams & Knight, one of Connecticut’s largest digital marketing agencies, recently won five prestigious Communicator Awards, including three top awards of excellence in each of the agency’s key industries: financial services, healthcare and travel/leisure.
Honoring the best digital mobile, audio, video, and social content the industry has to offer, the 26th annual awards competition included entries from 6,000 companies and agencies of all sizes. Winners in this year’s show included leading brands such as Amazon, Bank of America, Comcast, ESPN films, Macy’s, PepsiCo and Forbes Media.
Together with its client, The Connecticut Office of Tourism, Adams & Knight received an award of excellence, the program’s highest honor, in the Individual-Contests & Promotions for Online Advertising & Marketing for the “So Much, So Close” quiz, an example of interactive content designed for social media.
“Get the Message,” an animated video for Hartford Hospital about the importance of getting a colonoscopy, earned the agency both an award of excellence in Individual-Video for Online Advertising & Marketing as well as an award of distinction in the Features-Animation or Motion Graphics for Online Advertising & Marketing category.
The agency also won double honors for “Jargon Defined,” a social media video series produced for Webster Bank. It was recognized with an award of excellence in Social Video-Educational & Instructional and an award of distinction in Content & Marketing-Social Video. Previously, the series was honored with awards from the Web Marketing Association’s Internet Advertising Competition and the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts’ W3 Awards.

The Communicator Awards are the latest in a series of more than 14 awards the agency has earned for its work in 2020, already surpassing the total number of awards it won last year from organizations including the Content Marketing Institute, Hospitality Sales & Marketing Institute, The Telly Awards, and the Advertising Club of Connecticut.
