The State of Connecticut and its Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) believed the state had some of the best parks in the country—but few residents knew about them. They turned to us to create a site that would raise awareness and boost use of these “hidden gems.”

Idea

We designed a site that immerses users in Connecticut’s many parks and the full range of activities each offers. It also highlights nearby restaurants, hotels, and attractions to help turn any park visit into a day or weekend trip. Plus, our GPS-powered ParkFinder tool shows users just how close their next adventure really is.
