To mark their 40th anniversary, Saybrook Point Resort & Marina wanted to refresh their brand — from their logo to their website to their marketing — to reflect their new offerings and experiences. After diving in and doing plenty of research, we realized what most differentiated them is their unique location where the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound…a one-of-a-kind destination that’s been celebrated for many eras.
Our new brand logo showcased Saybrook Point’s iconic, landmark lighthouse…as well as the legendary sunrises and sunsets the location is known for. And our brand positioning was infused into an integrated campaign that featured content marketing, public relations and social media — all of which helped tell the Inn’s many stories, each set against the beautiful backdrop of the Connecticut shore.
Our rebranding and campaign helped reposition Saybrook Point Inn at the perfect time — just as Connecticut’s phased COVID-19 reopening began. It generated more business when it was needed most, and also generated:
- 26 separate media placements
- 70 calendar listings that helped sell out several events
- a Telly Award for our video on the Inn’s “sea to table” restaurant
