Insights

It was the Connecticut Sun’s final season — the franchise was moving to Texas after 2026. The challenge: create a fully integrated campaign that could celebrate the Sun’s legacy while driving ticket sales now. All with the proud, defiant, underdog attitude their fans loved.

Our campaign for the Connecticut Sun’s final season celebrated both the team’s past and generated excitement for current games.

Idea

We built a campaign strategy around hundreds of components and three distinct phases: “Get Close,” which encouraged fans to get close to the action while they still had a chance, “The Sunset Season,” for the season’s second half, and “The Golden Hour,” which gave the final home games their own unique urgency.

Unique “Sunset Season” Branding

We developed a bold look for the campaign that worked across all three phrases and created a distinctive, cohesive identity across every execution.
