Happy Travels Campaign

Insights
Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport had lots to boast about. But New England travelers didn’t know enough about our region’s small but mighty airport and all that it offers. They asked us to help elevate BDL’s awareness beyond “beloved best kept secret” status.
Our television commercial let travelers see the stress-free experience Bradley offers at every step — with everything that leads to “Happy Travels.”
Idea
From nonstop flights, a wide selection of airlines and impressive awards, Bradley had many bragging points — all of which could help travelers fly with fewer hassles and a lot less stress. This inspired our campaign theme: Happy Travels, which promised a more relaxed way to begin and end your trip in an era filled with overcrowded airports and travel anxiety.

Impact
Within a year, the campaign drove over 117 million impressions and 433K clicks to the airport’s website, demonstrating significant reach and engagement. Building on this success and with momentum continuing to grow, a fresh iteration of the campaign is already being planned for next year!
