Insights

Architecture design firm, SLAM, wanted a digitally compelling way to tell its brand story. But what Adams & Knight discovered was that it truly needed a way to differentiate the essence of what it offers so many different target audiences…a never-ending flow of ideas and energy that help create places and spaces that enrich and touch lives.

Idea

Our team “architected” a new way for visitors to explore all of SLAM’s design solutions, expertise, unique stories and job openings. Not only did we re-organize the website, but we also developed a flexible content management system that provided a range of templates which could accommodated case-by-case storytelling and keep the design looking fresh and updated.

We developed an additional avenue for storytelling by creating the Design Thinkers blog which offered insights and diverse viewpoints on what’s new, what’s next and what’s being celebrated.

Impact

With bold photography, subtle animation, and a flexible, modular content authoring system, the new design solved for two seemingly contradictory challenges. It established an appealing and consistent brand, while still allowing the SLAM team to author each of their many success stories with a unique, case-by-case structure. The site was recognized by the Web Marketing Association for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising – winning best Architecture Website.
