So when tasked with redesigning its tourism website, CTvisit.com, we knew we needed to update its image to reflect both the diversity of its people —and the vibrancy of the experiences it offers residents and visitors alike.

Idea

We revamped the site with a brighter color palette, fresher style, tens of thousands of new images depicting more energy, diversity, and authenticity, and launched innovative new features and content pieces.

200+ interest-driven landing pages dynamically serve up attractions, events, and stories by topic — with built-in geo-location so visitors can see what’s happening right around them.

A new, centralized inspiration hub features 750+ original stories — searchable by season, region, or interest.

Partner listing pages bring destinations to life — with events, live social feeds, and nearby spots served up based on where you are. Popular towns and cities even get unique landing pages.

Impact

The new site attracts more attention than ever, becoming not only the most trafficked tourism site in New England, but one of the top 10 in the nation! Within a year of launch site traffic exceeded 9 million visits, serving 25% more leads to constituent businesses.
