Adams & Knight Receives Third Marketer of the Year Award
For the third consecutive year, the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) Connecticut chapter awarded Adams & Knight with its top award– Best in Show. The integrated marketing firm also received eight Mark of Excellence Awards (MOE) for strategic marketing campaigns it created for its financial, healthcare and education clients.
Agency Earns Best in Show and Record Number of Mark of Excellence Marketing Awards
AVON, Conn. (March 28, 2007)- For the third consecutive year, the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) Connecticut chapter awarded Adams & Knight of Avon, Conn. with its top award – Best in Show. The integrated marketing firm also received eight Mark of Excellence Awards (MOE) for strategic marketing campaigns it created for its financial, healthcare, and education clients.
The AMA awards are based on excellence, creative strategy, and results. All the awards received by Adams & Knight reflect superior marketing results achieved for its clients.Adams & Knight was awarded Best in Show out of all entries for an appeal video it created for Hartford Stage, Hartford’s Tony-award winning regional theater.
The emotional fundraising video featured area students thanking previous donors for a free performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The video, shown at Hartford Stage’s 2006 gala, inspired attendees to fund two free theater performances of the Christmas classic for inner-city students in 2007 and more than doubled its fundraising goal.
The eight MOEs awarded to Adams & Knight underscore the agency’s leadership in its specialty areas of financial services, healthcare, and education. Six marketing MOEs were given for campaigns the agency developed for Travelers Insurance, Prudential Financial, Masonicare, ArtStamps (a school fundraiser that turns children’s art into U.S. postage) and Hartford Stage. Two additional MOEs were awarded for results-generating public relations campaigns created for Jefferson National Life Insurance and ArtStamps.
