Jill Adams honored by Malta House of Care

Receives distinction as one of area’s 2014 Wonder Women

Jill Adams, CEO and principal of integrated marketing agency, Adams & Knight, was recognized as one of 2014’s Wonder Women by the Malta House of Care Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides mobile primary medical care to those in the Greater Hartford region who have no insurance.

Along with five other Hartford-area women, known for their volunteer efforts and significant contributions to society, Jill was recognized at the Celebrating Wonder Women ceremony last night at The Bushnell in Hartford, Connecticut.

“With this award, we want to recognize women from a wide range of backgrounds and professions for the work they do in our community,” says Barbara Bartucca, Executive Director of Malta House of Care. We selected Jill as one of our Wonder Women because she has shown amazing leadership not only as a business owner, but also as a tireless advocate for the arts as board president of Hartford Stage.”

Commenting on her award, Jill says, “Indeed, it’s an honor to be recognized by Malta House. But the truth is, I’m inspired by the work they do to help so many in need throughout our communities.”
