Adams & Knight Recognized by NESHCO
The New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCO) has recognized Adams & Knight Advertising for outstanding television advertising in the Society’s 2005 Lamplighter Awards competition.The Lamplighter Awards are presented each year in recognition of excellence in a variety of marketing, communications, and public relations areas, including publications, audio-visual presentations, and excellence in writing, marketing, and advertising.
This year, NESHCO recognized Adams & Knight for its television advertising campaign for Johnson Memorial Hospital that was created to strengthen the image of this local Connecticut hospital by informing—and comforting—viewers.
NESHCO’s Lamplighter Award is New England’s only region-wide health care communications competition, drawing 304 entries from some of the finest healthcare communicators in our region. As Bill Knight, head of business development at the Avon-based agency, says, “Not only are we pleased to be recognized out of such a large field of competing works, but we’re thrilled to receive this honor directly from an organization that truly values the importance of high-quality communications and on-target results.”
The 2005 Lamplighter Awards will be presented at a ceremony on Thursday, May 5, 2005, during the annual NESHCo Spring Symposium at the Westin Providence, in Providence, Rhode Island.
